It is amazing to me that fire departments in every state are taught that at a contaminate release, while technical decon (tents/trailers) are being deployed, the first responders should use their fire trucks and handlines to provide mass/gross decon. What they don’t point out is that their standard firefighter PPE is not properly protecting them from potential cross-contamination.
    Firefighter safety??
