Tools of the trade: forcible door entry devices

There are several forcible entry products to aid fire and law enforcement in gaining access to closed and locked doors. DoorStorm Enterprises has recently released two new light-weight, non-hydraulic forcible door entry units. With the ability to open almost any door in seconds and causing little to no damage to most doors, these devices are built to withstand severe environmental use. Paratech also has forcible entry products such as the Buster Tool and the Hooligan Tool. Both are lighter-weight tools to pry open or break through doors and other barriers.

While articles explaining these tools and their capabilities are helpful, they don’t give first hand experience. If you have used any of these tools or similar tools, what works and what doesn’t?
